The Vessel condition survey is usually ordered by charterers, finance and insurance interests including hull and machinery underwriters and protection & indemnity (P&I) clubs and it is a statement of fact. We report on the condition of a particular Vessel’s hull, her machinery, and equipment at the given time of the inspection. The survey will typically determine the working or operational condition of equipment and management systems, including their certification status. We can maintain our own condition survey report template that can be tailored to suit the survey required and the Vessel type or we can use the survey forms that may be provided by the clients (P&I clubs, insurers etc.).
